A small village amidst greenery in Krishna
district of Andhra Pradesh is known for the world famous dance art from
Kuchipudi. The art from has conquered hearts of people around the world but the
living conditions of people still remains
backward. This is due to the successive governments negligence. The poor and low income groups who live in
and around Kuchipudi town have to make a fifty kilometre long journey to
Vijayawada for medical treatment.
Moved by this fact, Siliconandhra founder
Anand Kuchibhotla made up his mind to construct a 50 crore Sanjivani hospital
to the people of his home town. The state government promised to contribute
funds but there has been an immense and a long delay. TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash
pitched in immediately to support the cause. Through the Ravi Prakash
Foundation TV9 CEO recently donated Rs. 4 crore for the construction of
Sanjivani super speciality hospital building.
In the near future health care is assured at a minimal cost to 5 lakh
people of 70 villages around Kuchipudi.
As part of its Corporate social
responsibility TV9 channel has always supported numerous causes over the years.
Additionally Ravi Prakash Foundation was founded in 2017 to take further his
commitment and passion for making change in society by supporting the cause of
education and health. Today Ravi Prakash Foundation is undertaking
philanthropic activities in these areas.
